Configure your batteries using the SFK Venus OS driver menu

Unlike standard Venus OS communication, the SFK Venus OS driver has an on screen menu that gives you immense control over how your battery(s) function with Venus OS.

You'll be able to set float voltages, bulk to float transition SOC, absorption times, and fine tune DVCC behavior by dialing in values for CVL, DVL, and CCL. You can optimize your configuration to suit your needs and best of all this can be done from VRM, via the touch screen, or the Victron Connect app.

See all of your batteries and all of your cells, temps, voltages and currents

You’ll now be able to view all of your batteries’ data, the standard Venus OS protocol hides this information and instead gives a summarized view that lacks vital information such as voltage, current, and amperage per battery.

Now you can see battery information individually including details such as temperature, SOC, and any alarms/warnings at the individual battery level. You can even setup custom battery names!

Setup a virtual battery that combines all of your batteries to appear as single unified battery

Virtual Battery, an exclusive SFK Venus OS driver option lets you combine all of your batteries into a single entity which can then be set up as the controlling BMS on DVCC as well as the main battery monitor.

Now your 4x 315AH battery bank will appear as a single large 1,260 AH battery, or your 4 in series 315 AH will appear as a single 51.5v 315AH battery. The best of both worlds!

Running batteries in series? Isn’t that bad and will lead to problems? Not so with the SFK Venus OS driver! Now you can balance batteries as effectively in parallel as you can in series with NO ADDITIONAL hardware needed.

The SFK Venus OS driver can discharge any connected battery at up to 8 amps to quickly and effectively bring it inline with other batteries in series configurations and maintain perfect series balance.

Synchronized Heating ensures simultaneous heating that is controlled by Venus OS with definable temperature ranges & SOC limits

Sun Fun Kits batteries feature fully controllable heating systems, unlike many “Self-Heated” batteries on the market, the SFK batteries support various heating options including externally managed heating.

The SFK Venus OS driver can let Venus OS control heating and make sure it turns heating on simultaneously on all batteries. Batteries stay warm and they stay balanced, you can set the temperature ranges and also set a heating schedule and SOC limit.
