Shipping Policy - Revised October 8th, 2024:

Sun Fun Kits currently offers shipping from our domestic USA warehouse in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as well as our International Warehouses from Hong Kong, and Dongguan, China. Below are our policies with regards to how your orders are shipped and delivered to you.
 

Baton Rouge Warehouse:
Most orders placed on our website will ship within 24 hours from the Baton Rouge distribution warehouse, however, some items may take longer. Certain products may have a few days of processing before they can ship, we provide an estimate of this on the product detail page as well at checkout including any additional processing time during holiday periods. We offer shipping from carriers such as UPS, USPS, and FedEx. For orders being shipped internationally there may be duties, broker fees, and or other processing that may be due before they can be delivered. These must be paid by the customer as Sun Fun Kits has no control over these fees.
 

Freight Shipments:
Items shipped via freight may take up to a week to ship depending on the availability of freight carriers. For residential freight deliveries, a lift gate fee and or residential surcharge fee may be applied to your order, these options are available at the checkout page and the website will indicate it has detected a residential delivery area. Please Note: if you opt to uncheck these fees at checkout and the system determines that liftgate and residential services are required for your address, you agree to authorize Sun Fun Kits to re-route the delivery to the carrier's closest hub in your area or agree to be billed residential and liftgate surcharges post delivery. Deliveries to carrier hubs must be picked up within 1 week of the delivery notification to avoid storage fees charged by freight carriers. Generally orders over 225 lbs are shipped via freight.
 

Free Shipping & Flat Rate Shipping:
Sun Fun Kits offers free shipping as well as flat rate shipping on orders, these orders may be shipped via freight depending on the weight and destination of your order. If you require specific shipping methods or carriers you must select these shipping methods at checkout. By selecting flat rate or free shipping options you authorize us to ship via freight and we may choose to deliver your shipment to the freight carrier’s hub closest to your location instead of your delivery address. Generally commercial addresses with a dock or forklift can be delivered directly, however, the classification of what is and what is not a commercial address is at the discretion of the freight carrier. In case your shipment is delivered to the freight carrier’s hub, we will attempt to keep the distance between your shipping address and the freight carrier hub within 120 miles. 

Weather, Restricted Access, Duties, Other Delivery Issues:
Sun Fun Kits will notify customers of delays that affect delivery which can include issues such as weather related delays, restricted access, UN3480/UN3481 restricted shipments, or other issues that prevent final delivery of the order. In these situations the customer may need to pick up the items from the carrier's main hub if they are unable to deliver to you.
 

International Warehouse Shipments:
Items shipped from our International Warehouse will take an average of 45-60 days to deliver under normal circumstances, however, this may be extended to 120 days depending on shipping congestion, trade treaties, and other factors that affect global trade. International Shipments are NOT TRACKABLE until they arrive at the destination port of the destination country. This means for approximately 75% of the transit time you will not have a tracking number for your order. Any cancellations of orders or refunds are only eligible after 120 days have passed since the time of placing the order.

International Warehouse Taxes & Duties (DDP):
Items shipped from our International warehouse are shipped DDP to most areas such as the USA and Canada, this means all import taxes, broker fees duties, and delivery to your location have been paid by Sun Fun Kits for your order. However, you may still be liable for sales tax/gst from your city, state, and or province depending on your local laws and regulations.
 

Freight & Mail Forwarding Services:
Sun Fun Kits does not support freight & mail forwarding services, if orders are shipped to these locations or institutions, the customer agrees any damage, lost shipment, rerouting, or any issue arising from these services will be the SOLE responsibility of the customer. While this may seem unfortunate; once the chain of custody of a shipment is broken by not being handled by Sun Fun Kits or its authorized delivery/fulfillment partners we will deny warranty, insurance claims, product returns, or any other service that is normally provided when shipments are fulfilled with our normal delivery process.
