The stock profiles (such as 73) on the Quiq charger is more than capable of charging your SFK batteries to full 100%. However, if you prefer a native LFP lithium profile you can use the delta-q programmer to set the charger to profile 233 or 386 (native LFP).

If you are looking to replace your stock lead acid batteries with lithiums then this conversion is for you. The SFK Polaris Ranger EV kit does not require changing battery trays, drilling new holes, or having to replace the stock (Quiq) charging equipment, it is a fast straight forward conversion that will provide you with between 60 to 70 miles of range and can be done in about 2 - 3 hours.

The kit includes 4x SFK315EX batteries, the SFK battery equalizer, 2/0 gauge series connecting cables, and 8 extended length mounting bots. The kit uses the stock battery trays and secures using the stock battery retention bracket. After the conversion you will be 450 lbs lighter than stock and will have 60% more usable range than stock.

Using the SFK battery equalizer, you won’t have to worry about imbalanced batteries as the equalizer will ensure all batteries stay in unison. If you ever decide to sell your Ranger, you can use the 315EX batteries in a normal 12v based setup such as in an RV or back up power.

The batteries support heating (both during charging as well as standby heating which can keep them warm even when not charging), bluetooth communication, and have a user friendly app that will show you vehicle speed, state of charge (fuel gauge), vehicle power and battery temperature. The SFK315EX also support battery life extending features such as setting a power reserve cut-off (e.g. you can set the batteries to stop discharging when only 10% is left) or you can send a maximum charge level (such as setting it to 90% max charge) this means you can leave you batteries plugged in and not worry about degradation at high or low states of charge levels.

In terms of performance, you will have access to 18 kW (24 horsepower) peak up fo 50 seconds and will easily reach the top speed of your vehicle (limited to 23mph as per federal regulations). You can drive up to 45 miles at full speed off a single charge (on paved terrain), with mixed speed driving you can expect between 60 - 70 miles.

  • Built-in cell heaters to allow for low temperature charging, temperature to activate heaters can be set inside the app, users can also test heating via the app.
  • Triple Heating Modes! The only battery on the market that lets users select how the heating system works, select form automatic low temp charging heating, or use standby heating to keep the battery warm even when its idle, or you can disable heating altogether and use low temperature protection only.
  • User selectable Max/Min State of charge, you can set upper and lower state of charge limits on your battery, e.g. set a lower limit of 20%, once the battery reaches this limit discharging will become disabled. Alternatively you can set an upper limit to 80%, so now you can leave your rv/coach plugged in and your battery will not be stressed as it will stop charging at 80% there by extending it's life.
  • Data Port option for future expandability including wired options and add-on, required for future firmware updates. 
  • Smart phone/device compatible with Bluetooth monitoring/configurable app. Available for IOS/Android.
  • Automatic low/high temperature and low/high voltage cut-off to stop battery damage from occurring.
  • Automatic short circuit prevention as well as over charge and over discharge prevention.
