We have taken what we have learned from 4 generations of our popular 12v kits and used this information to make the V5 kits the best ever. Its the most capable and fastest kit build yet, now you'll have your cells installed (when opting to add cells in the options) and configured by Sun Fun Kits techs including 1.5mm thick fiberglass cell seperators (in between cells configuration) and will simply need to install your bus bars and the BMS plate (which is pre-mounted). V5 standard edition kits also feature our GEN 2 B switch which allows you to turn Bluetooth functionality on or off, full control of your active balancer, and quickly view internal battery temperature using the external monitoring button.

With V5 kits you'll have the option to chose from certified  REPT 280,  REPT 302, Hithium 280, EVE LF280K V3, or the EVE LF304 cells, V5 kits come with cells installed (when selected in the cell options) and also now use a solid fiberglass sheet separator for maximum cell to cell short circuit protection. The cell mounting plate securely keeps the cells in place for transport to you, and they are also properly positioned and configured so they are ready for bus bars to be installed. V5 also offers both rigid and flexible bus bars so buyers can setup the kit which the option they feel most comfortable with.

As for new features the GEN 2 B switch gives users greater control over their battery kit as now the Bluetooth system can be turned on or off with a touch of the button giving increased security. Users also are now able to fully manage the build in active balancer, as it can be set to run in normal mode, or in hi-mode (here the active balancer will only turn on when the battery is over 13.3 volts), or it can be turned off entirely and the kit will use the built in passive BMS balancer to manage the cells. Finally the third button provides users a quick glimpse of the internal battery temperature.

V5 Kits also feature an updated top lid (yellow color or black) that allows for flush mounted I/O ports for a superior aesthetic. A RS-485 data port option is also available with a water resistant RJ45 jack. All Kits are built in the USA using domestic and globally sourced components and come with your standard 2 year limited warranty on the BMS & CASE.
