Victron Communication

The SFK315EX is Victron Communication ready using the SFK data port and SFK data cable.

Multi-function I/O

The SFK315EX includes the GEN 2 B switch multi-function i/o that allows users to turn on/off Bluetooth, set standby or low temp heating, and also set active balancing modes.

Low Temperature Heating

High quality silicone rubber heating pads ensure your SFK315EX stays nice and warm during cold weather charging. The system is automatic and does not require jumper cables or switches. Simply set the minimum required temperature in the SFK BMS app and your battery will begin to heat itself so you can charge your battery safely.

4 (48v) Series or (12v) Parallel

The SFK315EX is one of the very few batteries on the market that can be connected in series up to 48V while also including functionality to allow for low temperature self heating. You can also parallel your batteries with up to 4 units (bus bars are needed to ensure proper balancing).

The SFK315EX combines the best of high performance and endurance in our popular 12v drop in lead acid replacement line of pre-built batteries. It features a colossal 315 Ah / 4.1 kWh of available capacity and has cells rated for up to 8000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. The SFK315EX is the lightest and most energy dense LFP battery on the market that also features built in heating elements for low temperature charging, a 200A bms, support for 4s series (48v) connections, an easy to use smart app, and features enhanced Victron communication.

The SFK315EX is hand built by Sun Fun Kits technicians in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is built to order. This battery uses components from the United States, China and India and has gone through a complete balance, capacity and load test to ensure it is built to industry standards. Your battery comes ready to use and we recommend you review the user guide on how to get the optimum performance and longevity of your unit.

Built with UL1973 & UL9540A certified cells with complete individual cell level manufacturer test reports, you will love the reliability of certified cells that will stay in balance, hold voltage during heavy loads, and also have the power to output up to 2,400 watts to power up even the most demanding of devices. Our onboard 5 amp active balancer ensures cells stay in balance even after hundreds of cycles.

The GEN 2 B switch gives users greater control over their battery kit as the Bluetooth system can be turned on or off, users are able to fully manage the built- in active balancer, and they are able to view battery temperature with the onboard temperature monitor. The 315EX is also the only battery on the market that supports both standby heating (heat your battery even without charging) as well as automatic low temperature heating, many smart batteries only support 1 mode.
