A potential issue has been identified that may lead to battery failure on the 340ELR batteries. This relates to the USB-C connection on the battery when used in conjunction with certain USB-C hubs. If you are using the 340ELR in a series setup (24,36v, or 48v), do not use the USB-C connection, instead use the RS-485/USB-A cables. In order to use the USB-C connection in series you must replace the USB-C daughter board with the V2 or V3 version, this affects all batteries with serial number 111 or lower (if your serial number is 112 or higher than the update has already been installed). If you are using your batteries in parallel then you do not need to do this update and can continue using your battery as usual. This process is explained here:
Please use the help / ticket system to contact us if you are using the usb-c connection in series and need the updated board.
