Service Bulletin: IO board on 315EX & 340ELR

Recently we have discovered an issue that may be affecting 315EX and 340ELR batteries: wrong led status is being displayed. This issue only seems to be affecting about 1-2% of batteries and it does not affect battery functionality, but it does cause the wrong status to be displayed (e.g. the bluetooth light will display both blue and red leds at the same time which appears as a purple led light).

To resolve this issue, we have released a signal voltage booster that will raise the voltage of the signal line going to the I/O board. The booster is installed inline between the SFK H2 board and the I/O board. To install the fix you will need to take the lid off your battery, unplug the I/O board, and install the booster between the I/O board and the SFK H2 board using the included 5 pin extension cable. Once done the status should be shown properly.
