V3 Kits are compatible with various prismatic cells, however, only EVE280 and EVE 280N may be used if you are looking for a low profile battery kit.

If you are limited in vertical space, you may select the low profile lid which is about 1" (25mm) shorter than the standard lid. NOTE this will SEVERLY limit your cell choices as well as the BMS that can be mounted inside your v3 kit, so be sure to select this ONLY if you have EVE 280 or EVE 280N cells.
With this lid, your total kit height will be between 10.6" - 11.6" in height (270mm-295mm).

V3 kits can secure wiring lugs via a terminal bolt or flanged button head M8 screws. The screws are an easier option for most and use less height, while the terminal bolts are recommended when you need to daisy chain many batteries in parallel and require a tall post.

BMS Mounting Tray:
V3 Kits offer various BMS mounting options, select the BMS you plan on using and your kit will be sent with a bespoke mounting plate designed to perfectly fit your BMS. Please note you will need to build terminal wires to connect the BMS to your cells, if you are not comfortable with this, then consider ordering the cell ready or ready to build V3 kits as it has all wires cut and crimped for you.
Works with the official SFK-150, SFK-150V2 and JBD style bms units in the 100-150 range.

Supplement balancers are highly recommended as they will keep your cells balanced and the load off your BMS. They are a must if you are not using true grade A certified cells as they will balance your cells at a fraction of the time vs using the stock BMS balancing circuit.
Should only be used if you are using certified grade A cells that are perfectly matched. NOT RECOMMENDED for grade B cells.

If you are on cold climates, a heated enclosure can allow you to use your battery in below freezing temperatures.
This option may not be available based on the selections you have made thus far.
Non Heated Kit
Some BMS units such as the SFK-200 have built in heating ports that will allow below freezing charging of your battery kit.
Recommended for most users, essentially a thermal switch will allow BMS on the market to have thermal management and protection.

The sun fun kits 330 watt charter can charge your kit battery at up to 23 AMPS and can also help you bring up you batteries to equal charge if you find mismatched batteries in a either a series or parallel setup. A great accessory to have as back up charging device.

SFK V3.5 Basic DIY Kit
Description

The SFK Battery Kit V3 is the next generation of our original kit and adds support for many different types of prismatic cells from manufacturers such as EVE lithium, CATL, EXPLORERC, RCPT and more. The V3 has more room to accommodate taller cells as well as cells that have pre-welded studs and different cell heights.

 

V3 kits are also available with internal heating so your kit can be used in cold weather without fear of low temperature cut-offs.

 

Sun Fun Kits offers the kit in various configurations and you can equip your battery kit for all items needed to build a complete battery, or purchase only the items you need to complete your current project. All Kits are built in the USA using domestic and globally sourced components and come with your standard 2 year limited warranty.
